Book Review: The Night Circus

The circus arrives without warning… ‘The Night Circus’ by Erin /Morgenstern is a stunning book about a circus that arrives unannounced and leaves without a word. A collection of mystery and magic is held within the pages, leaving you captivated as the story unfolds.

Le Cirque de Rêves is unlike any other, opening at midnight and constructed of black and white. Performers are awe-inspiringly elegant as they twist and turn in grey scale costumes, performing acts so fantastical that they defy all sense and logic. The surrounding tents are so full of wonder that if you didn’t know any better you might say it’s magic. Of course, in the Circus of Dreams, nothing is impossible… But beneath the beauty and poise, there lies something much more sinister. Two young magicians find themselves caught in a tangle of lies, forced to compete in a deadly contest that threatens to endanger not only themselves, but the circus as well…

‘The Night Circus’ is a sensational tale that will bewitch the senses and capture your heart. Unique and unusual characters are woven seamlessly into an enchanting story of love, loss and friendship. Through the mystery and magic, it has the ability to render the real world fantastical and the fantastical world real. But watch, the circus is open. Now you may enter.
